Medusae are also known to cause outbreaks of plague in the towns they live by.

The two met up again in the wintery Elven interior when Nodd was sent by the Pixie government to track down and kill Inky for his involvement in revealing the true nature of their golems. The battle led to a haunted inn where Nodd was horribly disfigured and nearly killed. He was spared death by the elven demon, Sissyl in exchange for his everlasting soul. Nodd carries a magical dagger than can duplicate itself on command.

Inky and friends were chased here by the bounty hunter, Nodd, and their actions broke the curse but nearly killed Inky. Nodd was also mortally wounded but the demon Sissyl gave him his life back in exchange for his everlasting soul.

The two began a romantic relationship at the inn and they exist together in nothingness until Bruce, Lily and Barry can summon them back to the real world.

Created as a joined effort by the Wizards' Guild and the Roadmasters' Guild of Atland, Wayfarer statues can be found at crossroads where travelers are known to get lost. The statues are generally cloaked and bear an animal's head. They are all extremely intelligent and contain enchantments that allow them to assist those traveling on the road with directions. As many of them have been standing in the same spot for hundreds of years, they tend to be grumpy and delight in vexing passersby.
